Reunion Review March 1, 2015 During the 2013 Honduras reunion in Colorado, Terri Salus volunteered to organize the next Peace Corps Honduras reunion. That reunion has been set for February 2016, beginning on Friday, February 12 and running through Monday, February 15. Mardis Gras is on Tuesday, February 9 in case you are wondering. Here is some early information regarding the event:
1. ATTENDEES:. Will need to contribute $50/person to cover the reunion registration fee. More details will be provided regarding exactly what the funds will be used for and may help cover costs for the banquet planned during the event. Any excess funds collected will go to Amigos to provide seed money for the next reunion.
3. MEALS AND ACTIVITIES * Friday Lunch: Dooky Chase Restaurant by Leah Chase (DOB 1/6/1923): Creole Cuisine (504-821-0600)(NTE 60) * Friday Eve: GrayLine Tours: Cocktail walking, New Orleans at Night bus, Ghost walking, etc. * Saturday Lunch: Natchez Steamboat Cruise (NTE 200 in dining room) --Saturday Eve: Party on Frenchmen Street * Sunday Eve: Dinner Mulate’s Original Cajun (NTE ~200 seated at tables or ~300 at high tops) * Sunday/Monday: City sightseeing (Park Service Tour, French Market, Mardi Gras World) and * Day tours (Swamp Tours, River Road Plantations, Avery Island McIlhenny Tabasco), Abita Brewery+)
